En 1993, je parcours pendant un an la France qui travaille la nuit, avec mon ami l’écrivain Alain Georges Leduc. Nous réalisons ainsi 25 reportages sur le travail de nuit.
La Grande Nuit a été présentée pour la première fois lors des Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie de 1993 en Arles. Un livre réunissant photographies et textes, aux éditions Syros, accompagnait l’exposition.
Night Work 1993
In 1993, I travelled around France for a year with my writer friend Alain Georges Leduc to take photos of those people in France that work at night. All in all, we made 25 photo-reportages of night work. The Night Work exhibition was first presented at the International Photo Festival in Arles in 1993. A book presenting my photos along with Alain Georges Leduc’s texts, and published by Syros, was part of the exhibition.
